About the built-in boards. There are two, and they answer different questions. Sleeper rankings is a forecast — where Sleeper's own board has players going right now. 2025 production is a record — what players actually did last season, scored under this league's own rules and converted to value over replacement, which makes it specific to your scoring in a way a generic top-200 never is. It has no rookies in it at all, and last year's injuries still show. Pick whichever argument you find more convincing.

The rankings board is pulled straight from Sleeper's public API and left in their order — nothing is re-sorted or re-weighted. It refreshes twice a day, so injuries, cuts and signings show up without waiting on an update. Every player on an NFL roster is on it, so late rounds still have bodies. Team defences sit at the end because Sleeper doesn't rank them; kickers fall wherever Sleeper puts them. It is a forecast, and forecasts are wrong: it reflects one set of opinions about how the year will go, not yours, and it isn't tuned to this league's exact scoring. Treat it as a starting shape and bring your own board if you have one.
